Network Rail needs to undertake essential works. These improvements are a vital part of their strategy to deliver a better railway for Britain.

This work will involve upgrading overhead line structures near Woodwalton via Green Lane and New Road to Connington. This work will use generators, light and heavy machinery, cranes, lights, along with small hand tools and portable hand tools. These works will be kept to a minimum where possible to reduce noise. Large machinery will be delivered to site via low loaders prior to commencement of work, and will be removed via the same route.

The work will be every Saturday night from 21:00 - Sunday morning 09:00  for the below date range:-

- 15th September 2018 through to 30th March 2019.

There will also be extended work on 2 week-ends:-

- 5th January 21:00 - 7th January 07:00

- 12th January 21:00 - 14th January 07:00
